AIM 2022 - Connection Project
March 20th Sunday Welcome Ceremony
AIM2022 was held online because of the pandemic. At this Welcome ceremony, representative of AIM made a presentation about AIM project and the whole schedule of AIM2022.
March 20th Sunday Prologue Day
First, we had a presentation about annual event from January to March in Japan. We especially learn "Ganjitsu", "Setsubun" and Gaduation ceremony, watching some videos. Second, we talked about Japanese and Indonesian culture about them dividing into some groups. After that, we played a game which could know each other's real graduation ceremony.
March 21st Monday Green Day
We leanned Japanese annual event from April to June with fun. We made "Kabuto" with origami after "Kodomo no hi" and played "Karimono Kyoso" like scavenger hunt after the Sports Day which is often held on May in Japan. Also, there are the days related family, so we discussed the future of family. It was a lively discussion.
March 22nd Tuesday Sparkling Day
We had a presentation about Japanese annual event from July to September. After that, in the breakout rooms, we shared each other's culture and habit. In the latter half, we watched a video about Japanese summer including "Nagashi Somen" and tried some quizes. Again, dividing into some groups, we disussed some diferences of a event between Japan and Indonesia.
March 23rd Wednesday Epilogue Day

March 24th Thursday Life Is Amazing
On this day, we share the Japanese culture related to one's life; "Shichigosan", Wedding, and "Kanreki". In BR, we talked about each other's original customs on wedding and had a competition that decided the best idea of a present for our grandparents who reached their 60th birthday("Kanreki"). There were some interesting ideas and it was exciting.
March 24th Thursday Farewell Ceremony
After Life is Amazing, we had a farewell ceremony. First, we looked back on our 5days. And then, we opened a comment box that we wrote anything freely. There were many positive comments about our project. Also, there seemed to be love letter from an Indonesian participant to AIM member...! In the end, we left and chatted as we liked.
